Lets Multi-task!

I want to share with you some products i own that i use for more than one thing. It's always a good deal when you buy something that you can use for different things (face, body, lips or cheeks). Here are products that i will tell you about and here's what points i will focus on: what it's for and what i use it for.
_________________________________________

Jane Blushing Cheeks in Blushing Earth Sheer
I think these blushes are really good quality. This particular color has small shimmers in it so its great as a highlight on your cheeks. It's soft and easy to blend and work with. What i also use it for is as a highlight for my brow bone and you can also you use it as an eyeshadow for the lid.

Mac blush in On a Mission
(from the Style Warrior collection)
This blush is a mauve/pink blush. It has a slight sheer tone to it. It gives my cheeks a nice glow and color. I also use it as an eyeshadow. I will post an FOTD soon so you can see how you can use it. If you're wearing a pink look it goes well or if you wear a purple look it goes even better. Best part: you have so much product for an eyeshadow!

Stila Convertible color in Orchid
I got this in a Stila set. I haven't used it much because the color is too much sometimes but it works really well. It's pigmented enough to use as a cheek/lip stain for an occasion requiring a more bold shade. It works as a cream blush for your cheeks and as a pressed lipstick for your lips.

Stila All over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer
With this you really can use it for a lot of things. I have a small sample of it. The actual size is a lot larger than this. It's a very sheer peachy/champagne luminizer with a golden tone to it. You can use it for lips, lids, cheeks and collarbones. When you need a sheen for a night out i suggest this one.

Urban Decay Bronzer in Baked
I love the sheer tone to this bronzer. I mentioned in another post that it reminds me of the Mac mineralize finish. Don't use it for your entire face if you have oily skin. I've done that and it was not attractive at all LOL! Use it to highlight your face meaning your cheekbones, nose if you want and a tiny bit on your forehead. What i also use it for is as a brow bone highlight. If it matches your skin tone it works perfect to just give a soft sheer look.

Personal Mac Lip Erase
I've made a separate post about this before. I use this every single day. It moistuirzes my lips and tones down my natural pigmentation so lipsticks can show their true color when i apply them. I think this could work with Carmex, i know someone asked me that before. It's up to you as long as you don't apply concealer directly because it will dry out your lips. Check out more details HERE

Let's talk about Eyeliners!

I thought i'd make a post addressing eyeliners. There are various types you could use. You have the liquid liners, pencil liners and cream liners. I don't think one is better than the other necessarily, it depends on personal preference. I've tried and used various ones so i feel i have a good idea of which ones are good and which ones you should avoid or at least think twice about buying. When i first started out with makeup, i was careful about my eyes because they were always sensitive. So i got into Almay. This drugstore brand is hypoallergenic. So if you find that you have sensitive eyes to certain makeup go ahead and look into it. I was really into liquid liners because i used to wear the cat eye a lot. Here's a list of the liquid liners i tried and used.
♡♡♡
__________________________________________
Almay Liquid Liner
it's a water resistant formula that lasts up to 16 hours without irritation. The flex-tip makes it easy to control and line the eye. I think i used up about two of these so i really love it. The color is intense and lasts all day like it says. I highly recommend it if you're into hypoallergenic makeup or just starting out.

Stila Convertible Lash + Line
i got this online from beautycrunch.com. Bad experience. At the moment it's dry. When i got it i had to keep grabbing product to finish lining my upper lashline. I'm not sure if they have this anymore, or if all are like this. If you know please let me know because i've had a terrible experience with this.

WetnWild H2O Proof liner

ok so i tried this just to see how it is... i hated it! It flaked on me and smudged so bad by the end of the day. If you tried it and had a good experience im apologize for my disliking lol i tried it two or three time after which i just threw it out.

Revlon ColorStay liquid liner
this is the one i use every now and then. I love it. The color is very intense and lasts all day. The wand is very handy so it makes it easy to glide on. Best part is that it doesn't dry on me. I can line my entire upper lash line just going once.

Liquid liners i really want to try...

Stila Kajal Eye Liner
i think i've went through about three of these since i discovered it lol aside from the fact that it finishes really fast, i used it a lot. It's very creamy and i absolutely love how easy you can blend it if you want a smoked out look. Also the intensity of the color is amazing. You don't even need to apply too much pressure to get the color you want. The one thing i never liked about it though was that it would run or smudge too easy by the end of the day. So i would have to check my makeup but other than that i love it.

Almay Eyeliner
oh almay the love of my life lol! this was my first eyeliner i used when i started using pencil liners. I loved how easy it was to work with. It's a retracktable pencil so you don't have to be bothered by sharpening it all the time. In case you do, there's a small sharpener on the other side that comes out. If you're just starting out with makeup i suggest this. I cannot stress enough the good quality of Almay cosmetics. It's afordable and i was personally very happy with it.

Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on pencil
I've used this after Stila. I wanted to check what the whole rave was about. It's a great eyeliner i love it. It's soft and works great for smudging. The one thing that bothers me sometimes is that it's not as intense as i'd like it to be. I feel like i have to go over it a few times to get the intense look im looking for. The great thing about it is that it lasts the whole day and doesn't run or anything.

Sephora eyeliner pencil
I did not like this pencil at all. It was hard and i had to press to get any color on my eyes. The cool thing about is that it has a smudger on the other end but even that is a bit awkard the way its slanted. I find it hard to work with. I still have this pencil i couldn't really stand using it lol

L'oreal Intense Eyeliner pencil
my favorite drugstore pencil right now! If Stila and Urban Decay had a baby this would be it. Great intensity, smooth, easy to smudge and lasts all day. If you haven't checked this out i highly suggest you do.

Sue Devitt Eye intensifier pencil
i got this because i was out of eyeliner and they didnt have urban decay 24/7 so the lady that was there sold me this. I used up a lot of it. It does intensify the eye and it glides on smoothly. It has a smudger so you can work with it how you want. What i didn't like about it was that it did irritate my eyes a bit. Has anyone tried or heard of it?

Stila Smudge Pot
I was really excited when i ordered this online from beautycrunch.com in a set with other things. Unfortunately i was dissapointed with what i got. I'm not sure if what i got was messed up from the seller or all the smudge pots are this way. The one i got dries out super quickly. It's not easy to work with at all. I have to keep dipping my brush to pick up more product and apply it. It doesn't go on smoothly. I'm sad i had a bad experience with this. I'm curious to check them out at Sephora and see how they are.

L'oreal HIP cream liner
This one i'm sure is everyones favorite. A lot of people don't like the brush it comes with, but i personally don't mind it i think it works just fine. It's a very smooth formula and it simply glides on the eye. It dries fast so it stays put throughout the day. You can intensify your eye however you like it. I've used it on my waterline and it worked great. Be careful if you do this, it might irritate your eye, so check carefully. I recommend it because its affordable and you get a lot of product that will last you a while.

Cream/Gel Liners i really want to try...

Small Mac Haul!

So i went to my local Mac counter the other day with my friend. I was very excited to check out their new collection that everyone has been raving about - Give me liberty of London. I swatched every single product! lol The two powders were sold out so i didn't get a chance to see them. But aside from the gorgeous packaging which makes you want to purchase every single item, nothing really impressed me much. I only ended up getting two things from this collection! I was surprised because i really expected id fall in love with more. The eyeshadows were gorgeous but i feel like i could live without them for a while or i could dupe them. The lipglasses were really gorgeous i have nothing bad to say about them i actually dont know why didnt pick up at least one LOL! So the two things i picked out was the Prim & Proper blush and the Ever Hip lipstick. I'm loving these!
____________________________
♡Prim & Proper Blush
(How cute is the packaging!!!)
I'm really loving this blush. The color is a neutral nude almost peachy coral on my skin. Since i've been looking to get a coral blush im sooo happy i got this one. It's also a satin finish so it's very soft and easy to blend for a very natural look. I love that it's not matte, not shimmery but still gives my cheeks a glow.

♡Ever Hip Lipstick
I will try not to finish this one in one summer LOL! It's the perfect coral color. Since it's a cremesheen, its very soft and moisturizing. It's very creamy and not too intense when applied on the lips. I'm glad i picked up this lipstick out of all the other colors.
__________________________

I also checked out the Too Fabulous collection. They have the cremeshene lipglasses which i was dying to get! But i heard their making these permanent so i have time to get them. The mineral blushes are limited edition and they are all gorgeous! The one that caught my eye was Rhapsody in Two.
It's a frost so it would only work best as a highlight. The two colors are pale pink and a pale peach. When you mix them they give out a sort of subtle pink champagne color. It gives me the perfect glow i love it. It's my first mineralized blush from Mac! It's very exciting for me lol

Do you get anything from any of these collections? What do you think?

My H.I.P Collection!

I don't have too many L'oreal HIP products but the one i do own are amazing! I think all HIP products whether its cream liners, eyeshadows or their new eye pencils, are all worth the price. I own three eyeshadow duos and two cream liners. I used to have the black cream liner but i used it all up lol! I forgot i also purchased one of their pigments and i pressed it. All their pigments are great when used wet. If you use them dry they don't show up as well and their very messy...(pigments duh!).
For good quality eyeshadows i would definitely recommend the L'oreal HIP duos. They come with a little compartment on the bottom with a sponge applicator and a small mirror. They are very pigmented and easy to blend and work with. I haven't tried their matte collection yet but ill be looking into it. The three duos i own are Showy, Devious and Charming. The two cream liners i own are Teal and Midnight Blue.

♡EYESHADOWS

Showy 224 -
i love this duo. I wore it all the time last summer. The duo comes with a gorgeous teal and a matte blue. I read that the teal color is a great dupe for Mac Parrot eyeshadow that came out with the Salsabelle collection back in 2004. The shade is hard to come by so it's nice to have a dupe for it.
I'm not sure if they re-launched it after or if they will. Either way, this HIP shadow is very pigmented and easy to blend. To give the eye some depth, i blend the matte blue in the crease. If there was any eyeshadow duo i'd recommend for summer it would definitely be this one.

Devious 336 - i haven't used this much but i really love the colors and i might make some use of it soon. They're very soft and feel like a satin finish. Very easy to blend. Can work with each other or on their own. I call this my Starbucks duo haha! It comes with a green shade which is a deep green and a brown which is like a deep cool brown (does that make sense)...No shimmer or glitters, just like a sheer feel and look to it.

Charming 519
- i'm having mixed feelings about this one. The colors are amazing when swatched. But once you pat it on the lid, they dont show up as great. I did try them wet and it worked a lot better otherwise it ends up on my cheek and it's no fun. You can tell by the picture that it's a messy eyeshadow. I do love the colors especially the purple one. They seem to be sort of shimmery/mettalic.

CREAM LINERS

Teal 945 - I used this a lot again the past summer to line my top lash line. I would wear it with the Showy eyeshadow duo. You can also use it as a base to intensify a teal color. I would recommend putting on a base before it because it tends to crease on its own. It's a gorgeous teal color with small silver/gold shimmers in it.

Midnight Blue 956 - I love wearing this as a darker base to make eyeshadows stand out if im doing a smokey eye look. It's easy to work it, all the cream liners are very soft. It's a gorgeous dark navy blue shade with small blue/silver sparkles in it.

What's in my school makeup bag?

For school i have a separate makeup bag that i carry with me. I feel like i don't have to carry too many things with me to school, so i only put essentials. I have this Coach signature swingpack. I took off the band that was attached and i just use the pouch itself. For my books i obviously use a bigger bag and this Coach pouch fits well in there too. So here's what i carry with me...
1) Puffs to-go tissues - obviously i love these haha you always need to have tissues with you no matter where you fit them!
2) Kirkland brush - i just have brush with me for the palette i have or if i need some sort of touch up and i miss when i get ready and i rush.
3) Carmex lip balm Strawberry flavor - just in case my lips get all chappy and dry, i have this and it works great.
4) Elizabeth Arden palette - i've had this for awhile from some set my mom got. I like it because it has a mirror and four colors in case i need some touch up on my eyes.
5) GNC pill holder keychain - my little pharmacy of course! i have some advil and midol in it... just in case lol
6) Revlon Beyond Natural lipgloss - i dont wear this too much so i just stuck it in this makeup bag. I love the smell and taste of it though
7) Nail files - i always have issues with my nails when they grow long so i like having these in case of emergencies lol
8) Alcohol swab - im not exactly sure why i have these haha but they might come in handy some day lol
9) Sue Devitt eye pencil - its a black liner i used a while back. I forgot the color name but its the black one. I like it because it has a smudger on one side and it comes in handy if i have to smoke out my eyes.
10) Nail clipper - just in case lol
11) Dior Miss Dior Cherie sample - im not sure why i carry this because i dont really like it that much lol but sometimes if im really in a rush i forgot to put on perfume so i have this.
12) Band-aids - you never know when you might need a band aid lol

What do you carry with you to school?

LV speedy dupe? LOL!

I was in desperate need for a new bag! The one i had was getting on my nerves and i get bored of bags so easily i have to change them all the time. So i was looking through all the bags i own (which are too many for my own good!) and i came across this one which i got as a gift a while ago. It's from the Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly.
They still have the perfumes but im not sure that if it still comes with a bag like this. Anywho!... i really thought i was going to be too small to fit anything in it. Then as i was putting my stuff in it i realized its super spacious! It reminded me of the Louis Vuitton speedy! ?25? (which im dying to get btw!) - hence the title lol.
I've been wearing for about two days and i'm loving it! Its so tiny and it looks sooo pretty i love it. I have all i need in it. My mom was asking me if i just have my makeup bag in there LOL! Then i showed her how everything fits in it and she was amazed too!
I love the color also.
Its a mauvy pink, very soft feel and with the margins and handle of the bag looking like snake skin. Best part: The inside look and feel! It's soft leopard skin material! I love it! I think i'll be wearing it for a while LOL!__________________________

Ecotools - Earth Friendly Beauty

Last time i was at Target i found this amazing bargain product! I love Ecotools brushes i think they work really great for their price. I found this Recycled Brow grooming set for $1.98! Of course i couldn't help myself lol i had to get it.
It's made out of cruelty free hair and it's natural & recycled materials! So if you're the "Go Green!" type you would love this!

February Favorites!

It feels like forever since i last posted something! I know i might be a little it late with this but here are my February favorites. I didn't really use anything new that i haven't talked about before so i didn't want to repeat myself. Here are some new things i got last month and have constantly used them.
____________________________________________
1) Garnier Fructis Style Hairspray (Sleek & Shine - Ultra Strong) - so i've had this for a little while and i just re-discovered it. It's one of the good hairsprays that i have that actually does what is says for my hair. I've been into puffing up my hair a bit lately and this really holds it and it smells really good unlike other hairsprays!
2) L'oreal True Match Blush in Tender Rose - obviously i've hit pan on it a while back not this month lol but i recently decided to use it again and i think it's the best drugstore brand blush. I want to try other colors soon. Its very soft, goes on smoothly and it has a slight sheer tone to it so it gives my cheeks a slight glow. If you haven't tried these yet go try them!
3) Sinful Colors in Easy Going - i love this color! i made a post about it before. Check it out here. It's been the only color on my nails since i got it lol! i keep re-applying it every 5 days or so. It has a good lasting power. I highly recommend Sinful Colors nail polishes they're really great.
4) Wet'n'Wile brow and eye liner pencil in Dark Brown - this is my new favorite pencil to use for my eyebrows. It has a waxy feel to it so it sets my eyebrows while coloring them. The color works great for me. It's not too dark of a brown and not too light either. I got it at Walgreens for only 99 cents! It's a long pencil so it lasts for awhile. It doesn't smudge and it lasts all day!
5) Kirkland Angled brush with spoolie - is use this with my brow pencil. I pick up product on the brush and thats how i fill in the eyebrows. I control the amount of product i use and i can easily follow the shape of my eyebrow. Then i brush them with the handy spoolie!
6) Tool Structure 3 Row Styling Comb - lately i've been teasing my hair. I heard it is bad for your hair but i dont abuse it lol I got this comb at Sally's and the 3 row really does help tease the hair faster, rather than a regular comb. I apply the hairspray first and then tease it. It gives my hair a bit of volume and body.
