Few of my September favorites!

I feel like i haven't done a favorites post in a really long time. This year is really flying by and i really dont know where my heads at. I have a lot of posts lined up this month and im hoping i can keep up for all of you. With that said, here are a few things that i've been using nonstop the past month and some even before that. Generally, they are products that i see myself purchasing or using over and over again.
Bath and Body Works "Sweet on Paris" body lotion - i use this lotion almost every single day. The sweet smell is so addicting and it does leave my skin soft and moisturized. The scent sticks around for the day and i love that. I've had someone say i smell like cookies LOL! The Paris theme is just adorable and its worth checking out as Bath and Body Works has more Paris themed scents and products available.

Bath and Body Works "Falling Apples" candle - i think i have to go back and get a backup of this one, its been lit up constantly. That apple fresh scent is amazing and feels so cozy to me. I love all the fall candles that they came out with but this one has been my favorite so far, until i decide to go back and pick up some more soon.

L'occitane Purifying Rice Toner - i've been using this for a few weeks now and i really love it. It helps clean my face without irritating it like other toners would. This toner is designed for those with oily skin like myself, to help mattify the face and i feel like it really does work. Unfortunately i think they discontinued this product since i can't find it in the store anymore nor online. Boo!

Apple Ear Pods - this isn't beauty related at all i know, but i do use my headphones when i blog so it is relevant in some way. These are Apples new headphones that are possibly the best headphones i've owned so far. They are really comfortable and the sound is amazing. It doesn't feel like i have a concert going on in my own brain, so i can enjoy music comfortably. It's also a mic so i use it when i make a call and need my hands free. I have really small ears so i always need really tiny headphones that actually fit in my ear and i was worried about these at first but when i tried them they fit perfectly. I would recommend these to anyone that is looking for new headphones.

L'occitane Immortale Brightening Moisture Cream - this is my favorite face cream that i've tried and used. I will have a more detailed review post about this product because its worth talking about and letting you know more about it. I will tell you that it's generally designed to correct wrinkles, even skin tone and brighten the complexion. I have noticed a difference in what my skin feels and looks like and i will explain in full details soon so stay tuned.

Victoria's Secret makeup bag - i recently got this when they had an offer not to long ago. It came in a set with two other larger makeup bags with purchase. I love this one though because of the size. It fits perfectly in my purse without taking too much space and it fits a lot of my makeup and other things i like to carry with me. Love it!

Mr. Pumice - this man knows how to take care of my feet. I purchased it at Sallys Beauty Supply and it works wonders. Its basically and two sided bar that work together magically. The coarse side is the darker purple side, which you use first to get rid of any dry skin. The medium side is the lavender which you use after the purple to smooth out the feet. Its not rough on my feet and it really works to leave my feet smooth and looking clean.

My June Favorites!

So i feel like i haven't done a favorites post in a while. I try to talk about products that i haven't really mentioned before...who wants to re-read posts seriously. I will however have a more in depth review on some products that are really worth raving more about. These few products i have been using this past month constantly since i purchased them or re-discovered them in my collection. In no particular order, lets get started!
Australian Gold Forever After moisturizer - i absolutely love this moisturizer. I got it at my local Palm Beach Tanning Salon. It supposed to help maintain the tan while moisturizing your skin and prevent visible fine lines and wrinkles. My skin feels extremely soft and moisturized and really does hold my tan for a while so i dont need to tan as often. Smells like coco butter and vanilla to me so its really nice.

Jergens Natural Glow Firming moisturizer - i have been using this mostly on my legs to keep a tan or gradually keep it anyway since it is a gradual tanning lotion. What i really love about it is the glow it gives my legs. The formula has little shimmers in it without it looking like i got dipped in glitter. I just have a nice summer glow for my legs which i really love. One complain about it is the smell of fake tan but because i love what it does, doesnt bother me as much.

L'Occitane Repair mask for dry and damaged hair - my hair has been really dead lately because i keep using heat products and its breaking down fast. So i needed something to restore life in it a bit and this mask has been working wonders on my hair. I dont want to talk too much about it here because i do want to dedicate a full post on it with more pictures and descriptions - so stay tuned!

L'Occitane Shae Butter foot cream - i heard amazing things about the shae butter and wanted to try it out for myself. Since i stand at work pretty much all day my feet get really rough and dry so i needed something that helps soothe and soften them a bit. I apply the cream at night on clean feet and wear socks. When i wake up i have the softest feet ever. I really love this and i would definitely purchase a full size- since i just wanted to try it out i got the travel size. Maybe hand cream shae butter next?...

Mac Blankety, Mac Perennial High Style and Mac Right Image - these three lip products have been my most used this month. Since i do have a bit of a tan now, my pale lip products dont look as good on me as they used to. Mac Blankety has been my favorite nude lip since i purchased it a few weeks ago. It works extremely well with either the more coral gloss or darker pink depending on the eye makeup i wear, i like to mix it up so thats why i included both.

Mac Blacktrack fluidline - i finally got my hands on this baby and its been my favorite. Its very soft and easy to apply on the eyes. At first swipe is not super dark but you can build on it and i really love that because i dont always want a deep black line but i still want to line my eyes. It lasts all day and i really love it.

Essie 'A Crewed Interest' - i haven't been wearing anything else on my nails but this the past two months. Its the perfect pale coral color that is great for the summer and compliments a tan so beautifully. It's my absolutely favorite nail color and i think it will be for the rest of the summer LOL

August Favorites!

Should i say that summer is over yet?! I think it might be lol! It was a good summer but im glad that its over in a way. I dont really deal well with too much heat and i always find nicer things to wear when it colder out LOL! Do any of you feel that way or is it just me?!? Well anyway without further rambling, here are some of my favorite things that i've used the past month of August.

1) Jane Earth Sheer blush - this has been sitting in my drawer and i never reach for it for some odd reason. I think i've talked about this blush in various of my posts but never really wore it enough to show it to you. Well the past month its all i've been wearing on my cheeks. It has a subtle sheen to it, so it makes my face glow, while adding a pink flush. I recommend it if you can get your hands on it.

2) Barry M nailpolish in Berry - this has been on my nails since i got it LOL! It makes me feel like i have Skittle nails. It's very summery and girly. Since im over the pink shade, purple is my new thing for the moment.

3) Burt's Bees lip balm in Champagne - products from Burt's Bees never seem to let me down. Everything and anything that they sell is amazing. They're pretty affordable and you can usually find them at Target or Walmart for a better deal. Ulta has deals sometimes too. This specific balm tough is soooo pretty, because it has a sheen to it that looks a bit frosty on the lips and im all about that lately. It comes in various shades if you're interested in colors.

4) NYC creme blush in Plaza Pink - i did a review on this with more detailed thoughts and swatches. You can check it out HERE if you want. I am definitely looking to get more shades of this because i love the quality for the price. I highly recommend it.

5) Rimmel London Stay Matte powder - I'm really loving this powder. I recently got it and i think it works amazing. I apply it with a brush. I swirl it in the product, then pat it all over my face for a soft feel and a matte look. I'm not a big fan of the packaging but the product is great i love it.

6) Sally Hansen Natural Beauty foundation in Sandy Beige - this has been my HG foundation. I absolutely love it. The color is perfect, the lasting power is better than others and im going to point out again that it has a PUMP! Love it, definitely check it out if you haven't.

7) Skinny Bitch book - it's not a new book, but i've been reading this like over and over again and i love it haha. It's a slap in your face about eating right and changing your lifestyle to be healthy. I want to get in the habit of changing my lifestyle and be more healthy, because i don't believe in diets. Eating healthy= loosing weight. This book is a real "wake up" call about diets and health. Have you read this?

8) Urban Decay Naked Palette - of course i had to include this LOL! I use it constantly and i absolutely love it. I heard that this palette is a permanent one for urban decay and that makes me sooooo happy because now i dont have to worry about using up the colors and now be able to find them again. Here's the full review with pictures if you haven't seen it.

July Favorites!

Oh my goodness why is this year passing by so fast?!?! I know im going to say that like every month but it really is just flying by lol I feel like i don't even have time to have monthly faves. Either way this is a short list of products i used the most since i purchased them. There all must-haves for me lately, i love them so here they are...
1) Luxury Talcum Powder in Lily of the Valley - this has been my favorite smell all month! I got this at TjMaxx for $5. It's a silky powder with floral fragrance, that removes excess moisture from the skin after bathing, leaving it smooth and scented. It's long lasting and fresh. Downside is that it kinda makes my skin turn white, since the powder itself is white lol But it smells like heaven so i don't mind.

2) Urban Decay Naked Palette - of course i would talk about this lol i've been using it like every single day since i got it. I absolutely love this palette! It's probably the most favorite item i have in my entire makeup collection. Check out more pictures and swatches HERE

3) NYX Mega Shine lip gloss in Sweet Heart - I recently got this but its apropriate to include it in my July favorites. I've been using it every single day. I combine it with Myth lipstick and its my new signature lip combo. It comes out a pale peachy pink. I've come to love the smell of it too lol! Highly recommend checking this color out.

4) Milani Liquif'Eye metallic eyeliner mencil - my favorite HG eyeliner ever! Here's a full review on it HERE. This is my second eyeliner already haha.

5) Mac Myth Lipstick - i dont even know how many times im going to mention that i found my favorite lipstick of all time. This is the most perfect nude ever. It's on the pale side, but since i have pigmented lips, it works great for me. If you don't like super pale out lips, then this might not be for you, but if you love that and you haven't tried this, i highly recommend checking it out.

6) Mac MSF in Petticoat - this being my first msf, i have to say im in love. It gives my face a nice metallic rosy glow. It looks amazing and its pretty pigmented so i dont have to apply too much. I will definitely get more msfs in the future.

June Favorites!

Seriously can this year go by any faster lol! It's ridiculous. Im soooo sorry for my lack of posts i feel like im betraying my blog. I have so many posts in mind that i want to post and hopefully ill be more productive about it this month.
So with that said.... here are my few favorites of the month of June =)
______________________________________
1) Mac Refined Golden powder bronzer - i've been using this every single day im in love with it. I use it to contour and give my face a little umph of tan. Best part is that the chunky glitters that are so visible in the pan, don't come off as obvious once applied. It doesn't make my face orange or muddy looking. The packaging is a plus! The bronzer is however from the permanent collection.
2) Milani Liquif' Eye pencil liner - i recently bought this and its been my new HG eyeliner ever since. I absolutely love it. I just did a post about it reviewing it and showing you more pictures. Check it out HERE.
3) Ulta eyeshadow in Flirty - i got this about a year ago but ive been so addicted to it lately. Lately, i've been loving pairing it up with Smoke and Diamonds from Mac. I've done an FOTD using this. See it HERE. I originally bought this as a dupe for Urban Decay's Last Call.
4) Sephora Lip Gloss in Precious Pink - this was my last months favorite but i HAD to mention it again lol I've been pairing it up with the new lipstick, Lazy Day from To The Beach collection. Its a subtle pink with silver sparkles. It reminds me a lot of Easy Lounger that's why i've been using it with the lipstick.
5) Mac Lazy Day lipstick - i've been in love with this. I hope i can find something similar because i tried to get my hands on another one but couldn't find it anymore *sniff sniff*. I'm so happy i got my hands on it anyway, its the best. It looks amazing when i wear purple eyeshadow. Absolutely LOVE!

May Favorites!

I feel like not too long ago i posted my April favorites and now im doing May haha! I don't have too many new favorites since im hooked on the same things for more than a month lol! Here are just a few little ones that ive been using alot this past month and are becoming my go-to products.

1) Revlon Colorburst in Baby Pink - i love this lipstick! I would've posted about the Soft Nude but my mom took it from me! LOL! now i have to go get another one. Either way these lipsticks are amazing. The quality is great: they're soft, pigmented and doesn't dry out my lips. Check them out if you haven't.
2) Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin - i would get the full size but i feel like these primer potions are a waste of product because of the wand. So as a primer i stick to my Mac paints but this little travel size primer is great. I've been using it everyday since i got it in the UD Summer Love palette. It makes the eyeshadow last all day in this heat and adds a subtle sheen to the lid.
3) NYC Cover Stick - i think this is either in medium or light im not sure. But i used this to pale out my lippies. Since i use my Carmax, i can easily cover it with this and not worry about it drying my lips. It's very handy because it looks like a lipstick. You can get it at Ulta for only $1.99!
4) Nivea Lip Care in Pearl&Shine - i LOVE nivea products! they never dissapoint me. I've had this for a while but never really used it until the past month. It leaves my lips sooooo soft and gives it a subtle shine. They have one thats a simple lip balm and i think another one that has a cherry color. Check your drugstore for them, they're around $3.
5) Sephora Lip Gloss in Precious Pink - i got this from Sephora as a birthday gift. It came with two other shades but this one has been my favorite. Its a clear gloss with sheer pink shimmer. It's making me think of the new Mac gloss from the To the Beach collection in Easy Lounger. It's super pretty its been my favorite.
6) Mac Zoom Lash Mascara - im in love with this mascara! It does however seem to clump my eyelashes if i dont take my time and apply it. But it makes my bottom lashes look so rich and long. I wear falsies anyway so the top doesnt matter too much but my bottom ones look so nice thanks to this little mascara. I got it for Free when i ordered from Mac online. Use code LASH610

April Favorites!

I'm always so late with posting my monthly faves but here they are =)
Not too many but ive been using these A LOT since i got them the pass month.

1) Queen Helene Cocoa Butter - this is my solution for dry skin. Ive had such dry hands lately, like they crack and its gets very uncomfortable. I've been using this at night and during the day and it leaves my hands so soft and it smells really good. Its a pretty big bottle i got from Walgreens for a little under $4. I put some in one of those little containers to carry in my purse and i love it.
2) Crystal Light iced tea packets - i've been trying to eat healthy for a few weeks now and the first thing i did was eliminate soda from my lifestyle. After a week of just drinking water it started to taste weird so i decided to try these crytal light packets and im hooked! they taste amazing and they're a healthier choice. If im on the go i just have a few in my purse and they come in very handy i love them!
3) Mac English Accents Lipglass - i think i mentioned before that this was my favorite gloss out of the three i got from the Give me Liberty of London collection. It's a minky mauve and i love how it looks when i pale out my lips. It gives a hint of the color without making me look washed. I love it i've been using it the most this past month.
4) Mac Peachstock Lipstick - officially my favorite lipstick. I used to be hooked on my Creme d'nude but this one kinda beats it. It's so soft and goes on smoothly and doesnt dry my lips if i moisurize before hand (because it's a satin finish it might dry your lips so make sure to moisturize). It matches my skintone perfectly without making me look like a zombie. Im so happy its permanent in mac pro stores!
5) Mac Birds and Berries - ive been wearing this a lot. I try to match it up with everything i own or even use it on its own. Im very happy i decided to purchase this eyeshadow after seeing a lot of peoples reviews and thoughts on it. I will try to be careful not to finish it too fast though (LOL!). Also i refuse to depot it because the packaging is too cute to be tortured like that haha
6) Carmex Lip Balm - so i moved aside my usual tube carmex and settles for the jar one which im so in love with. The taste and smell is a bit weird but doesnt bother me that much. Its very moisturizing and i feel it works as a moisturizer for the lips better than the one in the tube, which tends to acts more of a uncomfortable gloss that runs. (or at least that was my experience last time i used it). Lovin my carmex!

March Favorites!

I can't believe march went by so quickly. I haven't had time to use too many things, or anything new that i haven't mentioned before. These are a few things i've been using constantly since i got them and i love them.

1) Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser - i've mentioned in a few posts that i use the Neutrogena facial cleanser. I decided to try the Cetaphil cleanser this time. It was on sale this week at Walgreens for about $7 and its a big 16.oz bottle! The smell is ok but it works really nice. It leaves my face clean and soft and washes away makeup and dirt. I got it for Normal to Oily Skin. It's gentle enough for daily use and it leaves my skin refreshed.

2) Beautique Lip liner in Natural - i got this at Sally's Beauty Supply for under $2! It's a great neutral lip liner and i've been using it this month. I've never worn lip liner before but i feel it really completes a look on your lips. I recommend checking these out. They're pretty big and good quality.

3) Almay Pure Blends eyeshadow in Ivory - i've had this for a while but never really used it. i recently re-discovered it and i love it! i use it for a highlight on my brow bone and it works great. It's not too shimmery but gives a nice glow and perfect highlight. It's the perfect shade too. It's not white and not too yellow. Blends very easily and works great.

4) Beyond Belief Chocolate Truffle Lotion- i found this on the sale rack at Sally's for 49 cents! I grabed it right away haha Its smells sooooo sweet just like chocolate and it moisturizes my skin really well. I've been using it a lot this past month im almost finished with it lol!

5) Mac Rhapsody in Two blush - i LOVE this! I've been using it every day since i got it. Check out my Mac haul i did recently for swatches. It's the perfect highlight and it goes great with my skintone i love it.

6) Mac Prim & Proper blush - i think i'm going to run out of this pretty quickly because ill be using it every day lol im in love with this color for my skintone. It works amazing. It gives me a great cheek color and a slight glow. I love it!

February Favorites!

It feels like forever since i last posted something! I know i might be a little it late with this but here are my February favorites. I didn't really use anything new that i haven't talked about before so i didn't want to repeat myself. Here are some new things i got last month and have constantly used them.
____________________________________________
1) Garnier Fructis Style Hairspray (Sleek & Shine - Ultra Strong) - so i've had this for a little while and i just re-discovered it. It's one of the good hairsprays that i have that actually does what is says for my hair. I've been into puffing up my hair a bit lately and this really holds it and it smells really good unlike other hairsprays!
2) L'oreal True Match Blush in Tender Rose - obviously i've hit pan on it a while back not this month lol but i recently decided to use it again and i think it's the best drugstore brand blush. I want to try other colors soon. Its very soft, goes on smoothly and it has a slight sheer tone to it so it gives my cheeks a slight glow. If you haven't tried these yet go try them!
3) Sinful Colors in Easy Going - i love this color! i made a post about it before. Check it out here. It's been the only color on my nails since i got it lol! i keep re-applying it every 5 days or so. It has a good lasting power. I highly recommend Sinful Colors nail polishes they're really great.
4) Wet'n'Wile brow and eye liner pencil in Dark Brown - this is my new favorite pencil to use for my eyebrows. It has a waxy feel to it so it sets my eyebrows while coloring them. The color works great for me. It's not too dark of a brown and not too light either. I got it at Walgreens for only 99 cents! It's a long pencil so it lasts for awhile. It doesn't smudge and it lasts all day!
5) Kirkland Angled brush with spoolie - is use this with my brow pencil. I pick up product on the brush and thats how i fill in the eyebrows. I control the amount of product i use and i can easily follow the shape of my eyebrow. Then i brush them with the handy spoolie!
6) Tool Structure 3 Row Styling Comb - lately i've been teasing my hair. I heard it is bad for your hair but i dont abuse it lol I got this comb at Sally's and the 3 row really does help tease the hair faster, rather than a regular comb. I apply the hairspray first and then tease it. It gives my hair a bit of volume and body.

My January Favorites!

Here are a few things that i couldn't separate myself from this entire month!
1) Urban Decay Foreshadow Palette - i think i've mentioned this palette before. i dont know if you can tell but im hitting pan on Stray Dog! lol Lately i've been using Oil Slick.. It's not as sparkly as it looks once you put it on, so it's my new favorite subtle black i love this palette.

2) Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in Lust - i absolutely love this color! the one i have is from a travel size set that i got a few months ago, so i've had it for awhile lol i recently discovered it though and i love to use it on my waterline for a pop of color. Brown eyes + purple liner = love!

3) Ardell Black Wispies - i know i talked about these before but i had to add them to my list. if you read about my little mini haul from Sallys you know about these. I've been wearing them everyday since i got them. I might have to go get new ones soon lol They're officially my favorite lashes. They look natural, they're the perfect length for everyday wear. If you haven't checked these out yet please do!

4) Stila Bronzer in Shade 1 - i use this every single day. it goes on smoothly and doesn't make my face look dirty! finally a bronzer that doesn't smudge on my face and makes me look like i played with mud at the end of the day. It matches my skin the way i like it and i highly recommend it.

5) My homemade Lip Erase - believe it or not i've been using this every single day to moisturize my lips. Even if i use another lipstick, i always use this first. The vaseline smoothes out my lips and the concealer pales them out without drying them. If you don't know what im talking about check out this post about it (Do it yourself)

6) Revlon Colorstay Lipstick in Smooth Nude - officially my favorite drugstore lipstick..i want to go check out other colors since im lipstick deprived lol i've been using this a lot lately. I have it in my purse and i always use it for touch-ups. If you haven't tried this yet please do your going to be amazed with how smooth and soft it is.

7) Stila Plumping lip glaze in Citrus Mint - i love this! it seriouslsy stayes on for like the longest time. I love pairing up with my lip erase. It gives it such a nude peach shimmery color and it lasts for a while. i dont know if the plumping idea works or i just cant tell but the tingly minty feelings is funky i love it

8) China Glaze nail polish in Good Witch? - i've been wearing this alot! I didn't make a post about it because i wanted to include it in my january faves. It's a cool pink frost with tiny glitters. It stayes on for a long time and doesn't chip off like many nail polishes do. I put on three coats to get a good solid color. After it dries its not that smooth as regular nailpolishes, it has a rough texture feeling because of the glitters, so if that bothers you than its not for you but other than that i love it
9) Adam Lambert For your Entertainment - i know this is not at all makeup related but i just HAD to mention it. I got it like a few days after New Years and i've been listening to it ever since. His voice, his style and his music are amazing. One of my favorites so far this year.

December Favorites!

I've been using a lot of new things that i feel in love with in the month of December. Starting with things from my birthday, to Christmas, to just random things i got.
Anyway... here are my top picks =)
___________________________________________
1) Got2b Smoothing Lustre Lotion - i really love the products from Got2b. They smell amazing and really do what they say. I used this one a lot in December because i've worn my hair naturally curly/wavy. My natural hair is very frizzy and it poofs up and always end up looking like a lion (lol!). So thank goodness for this product. I use it when my hair is dry. It works like a mousse/gel but doesn't leave my hair dry or hard and annoying. My hair is tammed down, looks shinny and the smell is amazing. I really love this product and would recommend it.

2) Kirkland Signature Large Powder Brush - I've done a review on these brushes. If you haven't seen it click HERE. This brush though has to be my favorite one. It's the softest brush i've ever used. I use it to set my foundation with translucent powder. It evenly distributes the powder on my face and blends it without smudging anything. It's the best brush ever

3) Kirkland Signature Flat-top bronzer brush - I originally wanted to use this as a foundation brush. I changed my mind though since its purpose was to be a bronzer brush. I actually use it with my Sephora Sculpting Disk. I use it to contour and to highlight. It packs on just the right amount and i can easily blend it in. It works amazing.

4) Sephora Sculpting Disk - This is all i've been using lol I contour, set with the powder and highlight. Its amazing i love it. I've done a long review on it; check it out HERE

5) Revlon Diamond Grip Tweezer - I got this because i lost my other tweezers and im glad i did lol i've been very happy with these. They do a very good job plucking those pain in the butt hairs that are too small or can't be seen. I also use it to put on my falsies and it makes my life a lot easier.

6) Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect 257 - I've talked about this lip gloss when i got it for christmas. It's only a sample size but its enough to make me consider buying a full size. It's my to-go lip gloss. I carry it in my purse in case i need a pink gloss that needs to be re-applied.

7) Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Butter - Im so glad i got this. I love the taste and how soft it makes my lips. My favorite part about it is that it adds a subtle gloss. If im in the cold i make sure i have this in my pocket so i can quickly aid my cracked lips and add a little shine too. I end up eating it off my lips because it tastes like dark chocolate and peppermint...yummy lol

8) MAC Creme D'Nude - Need i say more lol its the best nude lipstick i've tried. I have so many pink lip colors because i can never find a good nude till i finally got my hands on this lipstick. It's a cremesheen so the feel is so smooth. you can wear it by itself, with a clear gloss or what i like to do is combine it with nars turkish delight. It's my top favorite lipstick.

9) Juicy Couture Couture Couture Body Lotion - i got this with the perfume set that i got for my birthday. I absolutely love it. I've been using it a lot because i love the smell of the perfume, and since this smells just like it, i constantly put it on. Smooths my dry hands and makes me smell great all that time. I put some of it in one of those containers from Mac samples (the little sample jars) so i can carry it in my makeup bag in my purse and have it handy. its perfect lol

10) Juicy Couture Couture Couture Perfume - I love this fragrance. I've been smelling like this the entire month lol I absolutely love the scent. Its like a spicy floral scent. I read what it has in it and here's what i found: "This scent opens with a top of succulent pink grape accord frolicking in a field of natural orange flower and mandarin. A heart of blushed plum and honeysuckle flirts with bold star jasmine. At back, creamy sandalwood lazes with moist amber in a haze of rich vanilla. Mix it with love and make the world smell good."... Pretty cool right =)

My November Favorites!

I finally got the chance to get together all the things i used in the month of November. I have to start remembering writing down or setting aside the things i use for the month because i forget haha. Some of these things i used everyday some every now and then but either way i can say i've reunited with some lol
So lets get started...

1) Ulta Body Swirl in Cupcake - i've been absolutely addicted to this! I love how it leaves my skin super soft and it gives me this nice glow because it has soft sparkles in it. It smells very sweet so if you dont like cupcake/vanilla-ish scents then this might not be your cup of tea lol Nonetheless i've been using it every single day this past month
2) Maybelline Define-a-brow in Dark Brown - I've had this for a while but haven't really used it much because i've been filling my eyebrows with a Wet'n'wild pencil. I decided to give this one another chance and i absolutely love it. I used it everyday to fill in my brows. It goes on very softly and it lets you control the intensity of the color you want. Also because it's to small you can really get in between the hairs and control it easier.
3) Mac Honey salve - so i got this with the Honey collection that was out this past summer. I've been using it a lot as a lip treatment bc my lips get so dry and gross during the cold season and this really helps with keeping them soft and healthy. I love it i wish i had a backup =/
4) Mac On a mission blush - this again came out this past summer with the Style Warrior collection. I haven't been using it much until now because it matches with the season for me lol its a pretty shimmery mauve color and its perfect for my cheeks this season
5) Urban Decay Blush brush - i've had this for like 3 years and i love using it with the blush. it puts on just the right amount of blush and i can easily swipe it on my cheek and blend it. The brush isn't too soft or too hard. It works perfectly to blend everything softly without overdoing it or underdoing it
6) Studio35 Duo brush - this is another brush i've been using a lot. I got it for $5 dollars at Walgreens last month and i've been using it this past month like crazy. I use on side to put on my eyeshadow and because it's so small i can work with the shadow in my inner corner without any problems. The other end i used to line my eyes with eyeshadow and its great
7) NYC cover stick in Light - I got this at Ulta for $1.99. I dont use it for what im supposed to lol i used it to pale out my lips for nude lips. I have such natural pigmented lips that when i do wear lipstick, their natural color is lost bc of my lips lol so i use this to pale them out so the lipsticks work better =)
8) Strawberry Carmex - i got this at Walgreens for like a dollar something i dont remember lol this is my second one this year lol its very handy i carry it in my pocket and use it when my lips get too dry and it works wonders its my favorite
9) Beauty Rush gloss - again i've had this for a while and i've noticed Victoria Secret beauty products are becoming so famous lately i found this and fell in love...again lol I love the minty feel it has and give my lips. yum lol im really lusting victoria secret makeup now lol
10) OPI nailpolish in Lincoln Park after Dark - I used this in the beginning of the month because its such a great fall color. I would've done a swatch on how it looks on my nails but im a nail bitter and they look horrible so im trying to grow them back haha I love this color either way because its not black but its that sexy dark color that's perfect for this season

October Favorites!

So it's that time again. Time to share with you my monthly favorites! October went by so fast i don't even remember what i did haha Anyway these are a few products i've been using a lot this past month. Here it goes...

1) Got2B Hair Thickener - I love this! It works to thicken, strengthen and plump hair. How i use it: after i wash my hair, i go ahead and blow dry my hair just a little then add some of the product on my hands and run it through my hair. Then i finish blow drying it more then style it like i normally would. I straighten my hair lol I notice my hair having more volume, feeling a little thicker and just given a little oomph lol

2) Biosilk Silk Therapy - I've had this for a while but haven't really used it till recently lol it's expensive and i didn't want to waste it too fast lol I use it after im done with stylin my hair. Its oily so i dont use too much on my bangs or in one spot. I flip my hair and run my fingers with the product through my hair. I use it on the tip of my hair and it really helps the split ends and to tame down my hair. Another plus is that it smells amazing

3) Urban Decay Bronzer in Baked - I have been using this every single day! It reminds me of the MAC mineral finish. It has a shimmery look and it works perfectly as a highlight. That's what i use it for. It works as a bronzer and has the pretty shimmer for my cheekbones.

4) NARS Lipgloss in Turkish Delight - I've had this for the longest time but haven't really used it much till i recently reconnected with it haha It's the perfect pink sorbet color i love it

5) NYX Trio - I've been using the third eyeshadow a lot with my smokey look to give my eyes a bit of color. The color is called Hot Pink. It's not too pale and not too dark. It's a matte pink and its gorgeous

6) Maybelline ColorSensational in Born with It - I love to match this with the NARS lipgloss. I love this lipstick, it's like my favorite store brand one. It's a perfect pale pink and i've been using it every day, it works with every look

7) Garnier Anti-Puff eye roller - This stuff really works lol I use it at night and it the morning if i know i don't get enough sleep and it really helps me to not look as tired as i am haha All i do is roll it under my eyes from one corner to the other and let it dry and in like 5-10 minutes i put on my foundation and the rest of my makeup. Once im done with that, my puffiness is gone! Love it!

8) Cocoa Butter Lip Balm - I've talked about this before and it's been my favorite lip balm ever. It makes my skin so soft and it lasts on my lips for a while. It's very cheap and i've been using it all day everyday

9) ULTA Eyeshadow in Gunmetal - these eyeshadow have amazing pigmentation and color pay-off they just leave a lot of fall-out. You have to pat it on the lid and not so much brush it. I love this specific color though. It's perfect for fall. It's a bit shimmery but not too light. It's the perfect shade for my eyes.

In other news...Not related to make-up whatsoever... I planted some seeds of Forget-Me-Nots. I did not think it would grow because you have to plant these in spring, but they did! They didn't bloom yet but they look so cute growing =)
