FOTD - Nutty/Envy

I've been toning down the makeup a lot lately. Being so busy with school most of the time leaves me little time to get creative and come up with new looks and pack on a bunch of eyeshadow and liner - though i do enjoy doing that LOL. I focus mainly on lining my upper lashline to shape up my eye and wear mascara and falsies to plump up those lashes. Today however, i decided to add some color, even though it still looks subtle. Simple and wearable for school days. Hope you like it =)

FOTD - Nutty/Darkhorse

You probably know by now that since i started school, neutrals have been my best friend. I try to mix it up sometimes but most of the time i just throw on some neutral color and go to class lol. So here was my look for today using the new Nutty eyeshadow from Wet'n'Wild. I'm also wearing the new Maybelline concealer and Revlon photoready foundation that i mentioned in a recent haul post. Hope you like it =)

Wet'n'Wild Color Icon Eyeshadows

I've really been lovin' the various new selections that Wet'N'Wild has been coming out with. I wasn't sure about the quality of their eyeshadows, but they're really amazing. I picked up these 4 shades - because i cant just try one at a time - and im super happy with them. Here's what the website says about them: "High-pigmentation and pearl-densiry create a unique, satiny texture that lasts and lasts. A versatile collection of classic and trend shades can be easily worn alone or playfull combined for a variety of looks."
My opinion: I think they're great quality for the amazing price. They're very soft and easy to blend. The pigmentation is very rich for all of them except for the purple one, Kitten, which i've had a little trouble making it show up. You actually have to pack it on to show up so it's not as rich as the others. There are other two colors that i didn't get because i figured i wasn't going to use them as much, but i might get them to have them all. I do have a small problem with the packaging. I have a hard time opening it but im curious if i can depot them and collect them in a separate palette. Either way, I highly recommend checking them out if you can, they're worth having.
Envy: soft forest green with a satiny feel. (Mac Humid dupe)
Kitten: purple with gold relfexes
Lagoon: blue with a sligh frost finish
Nutty: taupy bronzed shade (Mac Satin Taupe dupe)
Brulee: creamy shade, satin/matte finish

NOTD - Wet'N'Wild Shield

I was really curious to try out these nail polishes from Wet'n'Wild. I always see them and i think the packaging is so cute. They have 9 different shades that vary for everyones taste. I picked up (231) Shield and the reason i picked this one to try first was because it seemed more of a universal color. It really isn't though lol It's a coppery gold with lots of multi colored shimmer. I personally think that it works best around Christmas holidays because it's so festive looking. It's not too opaque so you would need two to three coats. I'm wearing it with two coats.
