Review - St. Ives Green Tea Scrub

I've been using this for a few weeks now and i think it's safe to make a review about it. I have to say i was very excited to try this out but it didn't really live up to my expectations. Green tea scrub says to clear breakouts and reduce redness. It's oil-free with salicylic acid acne medication with 100% natural green tea. It's in a small squeezable 4.5 fl oz bottle. You're allowed to use it daily because of the small little granules, which are very soft and subtle.
For me personally it didn't really work out. It did make my skin soft, but it somehow irritated it a little bit. I feel like for an exfoliator, i didn't really do its job. I prefer the apricot scrub more because you actually feel the granules exfoliate my skin and remove the dirt and dead skin from my face.
Pros:
- Soft enough for sensitive skin
- Smells very fresh
- Leaves a clean feel

Cons:
- Might cause mild breakouts
- Doesn't really exfoliate
- Made my redness stand out more

It's very mixed feelings about this scrub. I think it depends on the individual using it and the type of skin you have. It's a love-hate relationship lol You either love it or hate it, so it's up to you. I think its worth trying and i haven't stopped using it, but i dont use it daily. I would much rather reach for my classic apricot scrub. That's love

  2. I wanted to try this product because I love green tea, but I guess it's pointless if it doesn't really exfoliate -_-

  3. It might work differently for different people. It's worth a try, but this is how it worked for me personally.
