My top 10 favorites of 2009

I've been meaning to do this for a while now but i had a hard time picking just 10 items that i love. I decided to pick the ones i wouldn't be able to go without and here's what i came up with =)

(this is in no particular order)

1) Nars Turkish Delight Lip gloss - so i've had this for quite some time now but haven't really used it since maybe the beginning of summer. I fell in love! It's the most perfect subtle pale pink that i can either wear over lipstick or by itself. I use it all the time; i hate to think of the day when its empty =( ..but of course ill be repurchasing it =)

2) Revlon Colorstay Foundation - even though i jump from one color to the other when it comes to this brand, it is my HG when it comes to foundations in general. I've tried many and they all make me look washed out or it just fades by the end of the day. This one lasts me all day and it feels great on my skin.

3) Mac Smoke&Diamonds eyeshadow - i got this when it came out with Love that Look collection and i've been in love with it ever since. It's my everyday color. It's easy to blend and i can mix it with pretty much any color i want or wear it by itself with some eyeliner. Love it

4) St. Ives Apricot Scrub - i'm sure we're all familiar with this product. Very affordable and amazing. I use it every other day, usually in the morning, and it just wakes me up and makes my skin feel soft and clean. I think im on my 3rd tube this year haha since my mom go into it too, it finishes pretty quickly lol

5) Mac Pain in Bare Canvas - i got this over the summer and i still have sooooo much left. I use it a lot. This is my primer and it works amazing for me. I wasn't sure at the time if i should spend $16.50 on this little tube but it was well worth the money. It's last me this long and it will for a while so im very happy with it.

6) Mac Honey Salve - i had this product as my monthly favorite last month. I love it. It works so good on my lips and dry spots on my hands that i get because of the cold. It smells and tastes like honey and i love that. I have a lot of product left because i only use a little so it was worth it.

7) Maybelline Define-a-Brow - this is the only thing i use for my eyebrows. I've tried shadows, other pencils and this is the only one that makes me happy and looks good. It's thin enough to control the shape of your eyebrow and the color goes on smoothly and light and it allows you to build up the color if you want a darker shade. Most importantly - it lasts all day =)

8) 120 palette - im going to keep this simple and say... 120 COLORS!!!... smooth, easy to blend, pigmented and a great variety of colors and shades. I use this a lot of various looks i come up with and don't have the individual colors otherwise. Worth having in your collection.

9) L'oreal Extra-Intense eyeliner - i've seen this pencil on various blogs and was curious to try it out. It's the best drugstore eyeliner you can get your hands on. It's intense enough and doesn't run if my eyes get watery. I would say the quality is somewhere between Stila kajol liner and Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner.

10) Urban Decay Foreshadow eyeshadow palette - i got this on sale from Ulta (i dont remember how much exactly). I used this a lot over the summer, especially Stray Dog eyeshadow. Now i've been using Oil Slick a lot and sometimes Midnight Cowboy. I love this palette im glad i have it.
